![]() You get an answer back with all kinds of KB articles and no real substance. But occasionally it's so hard to make them understand your problem. Most of the time I have excellent luck with VMware support. Which of course would affect our cyber insurance. The scanning/security company got a list of DNS entries and started scanning my firewall for problems/issues. They said I only needed the reverse proxy for web access, I assume this means HTML access to the VM. This is what they told me: "Remove the web panel and utilize the VMware Horizon client" no exceptions. Regardless though, this scanning/security company - Coalition doesn't care. I had some issues deploying a new UAG and that is in the works. Oh and on the "update for log4j", I haven't updated the software but I performed the mitigations as soon as they came out. That's of no consequence for this issue though. I think I have some zero client that need it but I will verify that. Can you verify that 443 isn't used between the UAG and connection server? I do not have HTML access and I plan to drop PCoIP externally. I gradually cut more and more out of the mixture to make it simpler. I think we've been on VM's for 9 years or so. We are a smaller firm though and it's just not that hard to get everyone singing out of the same hymnbook. Which isn't a horrible idea but not my first choice either. ![]() LOL If I can't I may be forced to go through the VPN. It never hurts to read someone's opinion. ![]()
